Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, highlighted three key technological innovations in the new system: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI. These innovations provide a cutting-edge experience in core performance, cross-device intelligent connectivity, and AI capabilities.

This year, Xiaomi formed a dedicated team of over 3,000 engineers, led by Lu, to integrate hardware, software, testing, marketing, and user systems. They developed HyperCore, the core of Xiaomi's HyperOS, by analyzing over 25,000 scenarios and addressing them. The system encompasses 305 special projects, 52 representing industry-leading achievements, and has generated over 200 patents. HyperOS promises a smooth experience with quick app startups, fluid interface navigation, and exceptional game power efficiency.

Xiaomi’s HyperConnect architecture atomizes device capabilities, transforming them into ecosystem-wide functions. The Xiaomi HyperAI edge-cloud AI subsystem integrates Xiaomi's edge-cloud AI framework, multi-device sensing, and cross-device execution capabilities. It also incorporates privacy computing and extends AI from the application layer to the system layer, supporting all ecosystem devices and establishing a solid infrastructure for a comprehensive AI ecosystem.

Lu added that Xiaomi held nearly 100 internal discussions to refine the user experience. During the AI Agent prototype phase, they used AI's multimodal capabilities to simplify complex operations across multiple devices, ensuring users could accomplish everyday tasks more easily, rather than focusing on short-term marketing trends.
