Samsung is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 series is still a few months away. According to a recent report, all models in the Galaxy S25 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Additionally, a tipster has disclosed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will see significant improvements in its ultra-wide and 3x telephoto cameras.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to continue using a 200MP sensor for its main camera and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera. However, it will upgrade its long-standing 12MP ultra-wide camera to a new 50MP ultra-wide camera equipped with a 1/2.76″ JN1 sensor.
Furthermore, reports suggest the phone will introduce a new 50MP 3x optical zoom camera, an enhancement from the 10MP lens in the S24 Ultra. This camera is expected to feature a 1/3″ Samsung ISOCELL sensor, although specific details about the camera have not been fully disclosed.
These upgrades mark significant advancements for the S25 Ultra. Meanwhile, the S25 and S25+ models are likely to retain a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera configuration. Further details on all models are anticipated to emerge in the coming months.
