Samsung is gearing up to introduce its latest Galaxy Buds, with initial images of these new earbuds now emerging. The leaked images reveal the Galaxy Buds 3, showcasing a design reminiscent of AirPods, complete with a similar case.
According to tipster @TEQHNIKACROSS on X (formerly Twitter), who shared what appears to be official product images from Coupang, a South Korean e-commerce platform, the Galaxy Buds 3 case has taken on a rectangular shape with a transparent lid. This marks a departure from the previous square design seen in earlier generations.
The earbuds themselves feature stems that fit into a horizontally opening case. They sport a wider section and rectangular stem, distinguishing them from AirPods or OnePlus Buds Pro 2, yet bearing a striking resemblance to Apple’s AirPods Pro in terms of case size and the presence of a transparent lid, albeit with different colour options.
In terms of specifications, reports indicate that the Galaxy Buds 3 will include a single driver, Active Noise Cancellation, and carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. The earbuds are expected to offer up to 24 hours of battery life.
Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy Buds 3 alongside other anticipated devices like the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Ring at its upcoming Unpacked event, reportedly scheduled for July 10 in Paris.
