OPPO has launched its latest 5G smartphone, the OPPO A3 Pro 5G in India. It Features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, it claims to offer the brightest display in its category. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC paired with 8GB RAM + 8GB of virtual RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 Storage and is based on Android 14 with ColorOS 14.
The phone boasts a sleek 7.68mm profile, a glossy middle frame design, and a rectangular camera module on the rear cover. Notably, this marks the debut of OPPO's AI eraser feature in the A series. The Moonlight Purple variant employs OPPO’s Magnetic Particle Design, creating a dynamic flowing texture on its dark purple back cover, while the Starry Black model features a matte texture treated with the iconic OPPO Glow process.
The OPPO A3 Pro includes a Damage-proof All-Round Armour Body with a reinforced internal structure and materials like Blue Glass double tempered glass for screen protection, ensuring durability against everyday drops and impacts. Key internal components are cushioned with a Biomimetic Sponge for shock absorption. It has received SGS Drop-Resistance Certification (Standard) and SGS Military Standard Certification for its rugged design.
The A3 Pro is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance and features a 50MP primary camera along with additional sensors, complemented by an 8MP front-facing camera. It is equipped with a 5100mAh battery supporting 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. According to OPPO, the battery retains over 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, equivalent to more than 4 years of daily charging.
