Xiaomi has also confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi Pad 7 series at the same event as the Xiaomi 15 series on October 29th. A teaser image showcases the tablet’s design, including its keyboard and stylus.
It also confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 series will feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K 144Hz LCD screen, slightly larger than the 11-inch 2.8K display of its predecessor. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 found in the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 870 in the previous model. The company also show a Xiaomi floating keyboard for the Pad 7 series, which features 0-124 degree step-less adjustment, adaptive backlight, and full-range mechanical touchpad.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is also said to support 45W fast charging, an improvement over the 33W charging in the previous model. The Pro version will maintain its 67W fast charging capability. Details about battery capacity and camera specifications have not yet been disclosed. Both tablets will run on HyperOS 2, with AI-powered features and deep integration between the phone and tablet.
Additionally, Xiaomi is set to introduce the Xiaomi Band 9 Pro at the event, which will feature a slightly curved screen, succeeding the Smart Band 8 Pro.
