Xiaomi has officially announced the introduction of HyperOS in India, commencing this month. The initial recipients of this update will be the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6, both of which were unveiled last year. This development follows the company's global revelation that HyperOS is scheduled to roll out for various Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO F5 phones worldwide, starting in the first quarter of 2024.
Built on Linux and Xiaomi's proprietary Vela system, Xiaomi HyperOS is designed to seamlessly operate across diverse devices, irrespective of RAM capacity. Noteworthy for its lightweight nature, HyperOS utilizes minimal resources in comparison to its competitors, as highlighted by the company during its debut in China back in October.
Although the Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ devices set to launch on January 4th in India are expected to run on MIUI, more information about the integration of HyperOS with these devices is anticipated to be unveiled during the upcoming launch event later this week.
