Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones in China last October. Now, a new Xiaomi device with the model number 25042PN24C has appeared on China’s 3C certification, confirming support for 90W fast charging.
This charging capability matches that of the Xiaomi 15 Pro, and the device is also expected to retain 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 15S Pro, listed in the GSMA database with the same model number (25042PN24C) and the codename "dijun," generates buzz.
Rumours suggest that this will be the first phone to feature XRING, Xiaomi’s in-house SoC. However, other reports speculate it could use an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. While additional details about the phone remain scarce, it’s likely that the SoC will be the key difference in the 15S Pro.
The Xiaomi 15S Pro is expected to bridge the gap before the Xiaomi 16 Pro, which is set to launch later this year. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also developing the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, anticipated to debut in China this February and make its global debut at MWC 2025 in early March.
