Update - Today, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China on April 18th. The teaser poster reveals the quad rear camera setup, including a telephoto lens. It also shows the text Leica Vario-Summicron 1:1.8-3.0/12-120 ASPH. This hints at an f/1.8 aperture for the main camera and an f/3.0 aperture for the telephoto camera.
Earlier - Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch its next flagship smartphone the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China later this month, and rumored said to be unveiled on April 18th. Now, the rendered image of the phone has surfaced online with key specifications by leakster @OnLeaks.
The images show a curved screen with a quad rear camera setup in the large circular module, including a periscope lens, which was not shown in earlier renders. The dimensions of the phone should be 163.18×74.64×9.57~15.61mm (including the camera bump), mainly due to the large sensors.
Based on earlier rumors, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch Samsung LTPO E6 AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz display with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and based on Android 13.
The phone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera with a 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 50MP telephoto lenses and a 32MP front-facing punch-hole camera. It should retain IP68 ratings.
The phone is expected to be powered by a 4900mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. We should know more detail and the exact launch date of the phone in the coming day.
