Just last week, the new Vivo V5s was launched in India with specs similar to the Vivo V5 but in an all new design and color.
The V5s still packs the company's new moonlight 20MP camera with front flash and Sony's IMX376 sensor. On the hardware front, you will find an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor running tasks with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. Android 6.0 Marshmallow takes care of managing resources with FunTouch OS 3.0 on top.
The Vivo V5s packs a dedicated Hi-Fi Audio Chip
As with most mid-range Vivo smartphones, the V5s also gets a dedicated Hi-fi audio chip, AK4376 for better audio through both the headphone jack and its single speaker.
In the front, there's a 5.5-inch 720p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and below it is the fingerprint sensor which is said to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. Even in my testing, it was quite fast, similar to the OnePlus 3T I was using earlier.
All this is neatly wrapped in a metal body, 7.55mm in thickness and 154 grams in weight with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
Vivo V5s Available on Flipkart
You can buy the Vivo V5s on Flipkart right now in matte black color for Rs. 18,990. The crown gold color will be going on sale on May 20.
