Update - Vivo has posted a new teaser that shows two colors in the Vivo T1 5G phone, where one with a gradient finish and the second one with a matte finish with a flat frame design. The image shows the back design of the phone is almost similar to the Vivo Y55 that was launched last month in Taiwan.
The company has also shown the Snapdragon 695 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The image also shows a center punch-hole screen with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, so might come with an LCD screen instead of AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Earlier - today, Vivo has confirmed the launch of its new mid-range 5G smartphone the Vivo T1 5G in India on February 9th. This will be the fastest smartphone in the segment, as per the company. The Vivo T1 series was launched first in China back in October last year.
The teaser image confirms Snapdragon 695 processor with Turbo cooling system, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and has triple rear cameras. The Chinese version runs on the Snapdragon 778G processor, with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, and the company also launched the T1x with Dimensity 900 processor.
The company might retain the 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and should be powered by a 5000mAh battery that will support 44W flash charging from the Chinese version.
Earlier reports claim that this phone will be priced under Rs 20,000. We should know more details and the full specification of the phone in the coming days, and the exact price when it goes officially launch next week. Vivo T1 5G will be available on Flipkart after the launch.
