Xiaomi's Redmi brand is preparing for its upcoming flagship 5G smartphones in the Redmi K50 series, which will be run on the latest Dimensity 9000. According to leakster Digital Chat Station, it has confirmed that three Redmi K50 series phones have been certified in China. Last month, the company confirmed that the Redmi K50 series launch conference will be held after the Spring Festival.
The Redmi K50 phone with the model number 22021211RC could be run on Snapdragon 870 processor with 12GB of RAM and Android 12 out of the box, according to the GeekBench listing that was surfaced back in November.
The Redmi K50 Pro phone with the model number 22041211AC is expected to be run on the upcoming Dimensity 8000 processor and the Redmi K50 Pro+ with the model number 22011211C is expected to be run on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.
Digital Chat Station also confirmed that the new Redmi K50 gaming Edition will be run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with dual VC cooling system, CyberEngine ultra-wideband motor, and could be powered by a 4700mAh battery that will support 120W fast charging.
We should know more details and the full specifications of the Redmi K50 series in the coming days and might be officially launched in China sometime later this month.
