Vivo has officially unveiled the design of the Vivo S20 series, after teasers and rumours. According to Vivo's Vice President, Jia Jingdong, the series draws inspiration from the golden silk phoenix feather texture and incorporates photolithography and embroidery craftsmanship in its design.
The Vivo S20 series employs advanced photolithography technology for micron-level etching on the back panel, creating the intricate "Phoenix Feather" texture. Using the diffraction grating principle, it precisely controls light reflection angles with nanometer-level engraving precision.
The series features BOE Q10 OLED screens, with the S20 Pro powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. The camera setup is rumoured to include a 50MP triple rear camera and a 50MP front camera, along with an aura light feature for enhanced photography.
The Vivo S20 is confirmed to have a 6500mAh battery, a thickness of 7.19mm, and a weight of approximately 180 grams. Certification details also reveal a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, 1.5K quality, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC for the base S20 model.
The Vivo S20 series is anticipated to launch on November 28th.
