Sony has just gone official with the Xperia T3 which has a 7mm thin body and comes with a 5.3-inch HD display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB RAM running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. There's a 8 MP primary camera at the back with LED flash, Sony Exmor RS sensor as well as a 1.1 MP HD front-facing camera. Sony is claiming it as the "slimmest 5.3-inch phone", which might actually be true since there aren't many 5.3-inch devices out there, nevertheless 7mm is still something to strive for in the mid-range segment.
The 5.3-inch 720p IPS display on the Xperia T3 features Sony's Triluminous technology with 277 PPI pixel density and Bravia Engine 2 for smoother graphics quality. As with most new Xperia smartphones the Xperia T3 will be available in Black, White and Purple colors. It has a steel frame and the characteristic aluminium power button which has become a signature of Sony's OmniBalance design.
The Xperia T3 comes with a myriad of connectivity options including 3G, 4G LTE with upto 150Mbps download speeds, Wi-Fi with Miracast and DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS.
