HTC One E8 has gone official with 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 801 and 13 MP primary camera. Its a cheaper variant of the HTC One M8 flagship and comes with polycarbonate build instead of metal. Thankfully the duo-camera UltraPixel setup at the back has been replaced by a single 13 MP camera but retaining the beautiful 5-inch 1080p  display with Gorilla Glass 3 as the One M8. There's a 5 MP front-facing camera as well.

The internals are pretty much same as well, with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 taking care of processing tasks with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage running Android 4.4 KitKat. The HTC One M8 also features the same Boom Sound stereo speakers in the front with built-in amplifiers, 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, MHL, NFC and GPS with GLONASS.

There's a 2600 mAh tucked in there as well on the HTC One E8. It will be available in Electric Crimson, Misty White, Maldives Blue and Polar White colors starting in early June in select markets. There is no word on pricing at the moment, but it would definitely be cheaper that the One M8.
