Samsung is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone in the S25 series including the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra early next year. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938B) with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (US version) and the Galaxy S25+ with the Exynos 2500 (SM-S936B, European version) have appeared in recent Geekbench listings.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy -
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, identified by the model number SM-S938B, was previously spotted in Geekbench listings in September. The latest listing shows the US version featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy with an upgraded prime core clocked at 4.47GHz, up from 4.32GHz, and running Android 15. The scores reveal a single-core performance of 3148, similar to earlier results, while the multi-core score has jumped to 10236, surpassing the 10,000 mark and aligning with other top competitors.
Samsung Galaxy S25+ with Exynos 2500 -
The Galaxy S25+ (SM-S936B) reveals the Exynos 2500 3nm chip, likely intended for the European market, despite earlier rumours suggesting Samsung would exclusively use Snapdragon for the S25 series. This version features a Deca-Core CPU configuration, with 1 x 3.3GHz Prime Core, 5 x 2.36GHz + 2 x 2.75GHz performance cores, and 2 x 1.8GHz efficiency cores. It runs Android 15 and includes 12GB of RAM.
The Geekbench scores show a single-core result of 2359 and a multi-core score of 8141, lower than the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400. However, since this is likely a test device, the final retail version could achieve higher scores.
A previous listing also mentioned the new Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA architecture, with support for Vulkan 1.3.
