Samsung has launched its latest Fan Edition smartphone in the S23 series the Galaxy S23 FE Globally including India, as they promised. It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an In-display fingerprint scanner. For the first time in an FE series, the S23 FE has a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and comes with an aluminum frame. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 depending on the market with vapor chamber cooling, but India will get the Exynos version, as usual.
It has 8GB RAM with up to 256GB storage and is based on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top and gets 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates, similar to the flagships. It has a new 50MP primary rear camera, similar to the S23 along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. There is also a new 10MP front-facing punch-hole camera. There is advanced digital image stabilization (VDIS) and optical image stabilizer (OIS).
It boasts an IP68 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance. The device is equipped with a 4500mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, mirroring the capabilities of the S21 FE.
