Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note5 in India on September 7th at an event in New Delhi. The Galaxy Note5 was launched at the company's unpacked event 2 weeks ago. It has a similar design to the Galaxy S6 but with the back curving in at the sides. The Galaxy Note5 features a 5.7-inch quad-HD Super AMOLED display with very narrow bezels giving the device a smaller footprint than its predecessor.
Under the hood you have the Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and either 32/64 GB inbuilt non-expandable storage. The new Galaxy Note would be incomplete without the new S-Pen, which too has received a design overhaul. Its still made of plastic but with a metallic shade. With the new S-Pen you can start taking notes as soon as you pull the pen out even with the display off.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 Specs and Photos
The Galaxy Note 5 retains the same 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture lens as the Galaxy S6, including Optical Image Stabilization, real-time HDR with 4K Recording. There's a 5MP front-facing camera here as well. On the connectivity front you have WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and fast wireless charging. A 3000 mAH battery keeps the Note5, well, taking notes.
We'll know more about pricing and availability at the launch event. Stay tuned for updates.
