Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Galaxy F15 5G, the next smartphone in the F series, set to debut in India on March 4th. According to the company, it will be the first phone in the sub-Rs. 15,000 price segment to feature a Super AMOLED screen and a 6000mAh battery.
Additionally, Samsung has confirmed the inclusion of triple rear cameras, a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, and assurance of receiving 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone. The revealed image showcases a notch, suggesting a 6.5" FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, akin to the F14 5G model.
Previously leaked benchmarks indicate that the phone will run Android 14, implying support for updates up to Android 18. Benchmarks also suggest a 4GB RAM variant, although a 6GB RAM version is expected. Recent renders of the Galaxy F15 5G have unveiled Black, Purple, and Mint color options. It is anticipated to support 25W fast charging, with no charger included in the box.
The Galaxy F15 5G will introduce Samsung's 'Voice Focus' feature, enhancing voice quality during calls by filtering out background noise and boosting vocal frequencies. This feature is compatible with video and voice calling apps such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and Zoom.
Further details, including the exact price, will be disclosed when the phone is officially unveiled in a couple of weeks and will be sold on Flipkart.
