Realme has officially announced the arrival of the realme 12+ 5G in India, set to debut on March 6th. According to the company, it will be equipped with a Sony LYT600 sensor featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) – a pioneering feature in its segment. This sensor mirrors the one utilized in the OPPO Reno11.
The sensor boasts an 18% improvement in color reproduction compared to its predecessors. With support for 2X In-sensor Zoom, it ensures clearer images without compromising quality, offering users enhanced shooting flexibility for capturing subjects at various distances with precision.
Introducing the new Snap Portrait System, users can swiftly transition from not shooting to capturing their next shot within 0.8 seconds. The system's optimized capture speed enables high-speed continuous shooting of up to 208 pictures per minute, as highlighted by the company. Additional features include the Cinematic Bokeh Algorithm.
Luxury Watch-Inspired Design and Vegan Leather -
Realme 12+ 5G incorporates elements traditionally associated with luxury watches, drawing inspiration from their dials, bezels, and straps. According to realme, the device features a polished sunburst dial adorned with over 500 gradient patterns, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow.
Enhancing its premium appeal, the phone boasts a vegan leather finish and incorporates a metallic strap texture. Additionally, it comes with IP54 dust and water resistance. One notable feature is the Rainwater Smart Touch technology, which aims to enhance user comfort and accuracy during usage.
The device utilizes screen data scanning to differentiate between water and a hand touching the screen. In instances of water detection, a series of algorithms are activated to prevent unintended touch actions. Moreover, in situations where water and touch coincide, the algorithm mitigates the water effect, thereby enhancing touch input accuracy. This refinement significantly improves the overall performance and usability of the realme 12+ 5G across various scenarios.
Anticipated features include a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 6nm processor, a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and storage options of up to 12GB RAM and 256GB. The device is set to run on Android 14 with realme UI 5.
Furthermore, realme pledges "12 upgrades" that have never been witnessed in the smartphone industry, heightening anticipation for the launch, subsequent to its introduction in Malaysia on February 29th
