Xiaomi's brand Redmi has announced the release of its next smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 5 Lite, in India on September 25th, following the launch of the Redmi Watch 5 Active last month.
The company has confirmed that the smartwatch will come with a 1.96-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS, 5ATM water resistance (up to 50 meters), Bluetooth calling, Alexa support, and a battery life of up to 18 days on a single charge. Running on Hyper OS, similar to the Watch 5 Active, it will also offer all-day heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress monitoring, along with 150+ sports modes and over 200 watch faces.
Images show the smartwatch in Black and Light Gold colour options. Already available in countries like Thailand at a promotional price of 1,650 Thai Baht (approximately Rs. 4,170), it is expected to launch in India with a price tag under Rs. 5000.
