Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 and its 4G variant, designed for users seeking both entertainment and productivity on the go. Both tablets boast an 8.7-inch display with up to 600 nits of brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio, ensuring clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. The screens support 10-bit color depth, showcasing 1 billion colours, and a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth visual and gaming experience.
With a 5:3 aspect ratio, the tablets are optimized for comfortable reading and offer two reading modes, Paper and Classic. They are also TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certified, with DC dimming to minimize eye strain.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is slim and lightweight, measuring 8.8mm thick and weighing 373 grams, while the 4G variant weighs 375 grams. It runs on the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor with up to 6GB RAM, up to 128GB storage and is based on Android U with Xiaomi HyperOS. The 4G variant adds 4G connectivity, dual SIM slots for reliable internet access, and advanced navigation features, making it ideal for users who are frequently on the move.
