Xiaomi has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Note 13 series, comprising the Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+, Following a period of speculation and teasers. Furthermore, Xiaomi has revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will mark a significant milestone as the very first Redmi Note series smartphone to showcase a curved screen design with ultra-thin bezels measuring just 2.37mm in width. This innovative display will also benefit from Corning Gorilla Victus protection.
The teaser image released by the company has verified several key features, including a gently curved screen, a rear camera setup consisting of three lenses, highlighted by a formidable 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with an impressive f/1.65 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will sport a leather-like back cover, an IR sensor located at the top, stereo speakers, and notably, it will not include a 3.5mm audio jack.
The header image depicting both phones reveals that the Redmi Note 13 Pro will also boast a 200MP camera, although there is no mention of optical image stabilization (OIS), and it appears that there won't be a leather finish model for this variant. Instead, it is reported to feature a glass back. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will pioneer the use of a custom Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC developed in collaboration with MediaTek.
According to the teaser, both phones sport a 1.5K AMOLED display, potentially offering a 6.67-inch high refresh rate of 144Hz, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass Victus Protection. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is rumored to come equipped with a 5120mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is expected to feature a 5000mAh battery with an impressive 120W fast charging capability.
More comprehensive details are anticipated to emerge in the days leading up to the official launch of the phones scheduled for next week.
