HONOR has launched its latest smartphone the HONOR 90 as a comeback to the Indian market, as they promised. It has a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM Dimming technology, and an In-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition SoC, which is a slightly overclocked version of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It comes with up to 12GB RAM + up to 7GB of virtual RAM with up to 512GB storage and is based on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1.
MagicOS 7.1 represents an innovative operating system that aims to deliver a harmonious user experience across various platforms and devices, as stated by the company. The company has committed to delivering two years of software updates and three years of security patches.
In addition to introducing fresh user interface enhancements, MagicOS 7.1 will empower users to manage a HONOR laptop, smartphone, and tablet seamlessly using a single keyboard and mouse, thanks to the integration of HonorShare.
It has a 200MP primary rear Camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor that supports 16-in-1 pixel binning equivalent to 2.24µm large pixels. The phones also have a 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera and a 2MP Depth Camera. It has a 50MP front-facing punch-hole camera, and the phone supports 4K video recording with both cameras. Both the front and rear cameras are equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), but Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is notably absent from the rear camera. Furthermore, the phone does not feature stereo speakers.
The HONOR 90 Series comes with a slim and lightweight design with smooth, rounded edges, and the Deeply Reinforced Glass. It is Inspired by haute couture and craftsmanship seen in luxury jewellery, and HONOR 90 Series features the iconic N Series classic Dual Ring Design, with rounded elements crafted with precise cutting techniques to produce a brilliant shine that adds an extra touch of elegance to the smartphone.
It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, but the charger doesn’t come in the phone’s box.
