Redmi is preparing to launch its flagship smartphone in the K70 series the Redmi K70 Ultra (2407FRK8EC), a successor to last year's Redmi K60 Ultra, has obtained 3C certification, indicating its compatibility with MDY-14-ED and MDY-16-EB chargers, delivering a 120W output. According to leaks from Digital Chatstation, the phone will run on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, an upgrade from the Dimensity 9200+ found in the K60 Ultra.
Rumors suggest the device will boast up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, along with a larger 5500mAh battery compared to the 5000mAh capacity of its predecessor.
It's anticipated to sport a 1.5K 8T LTPO screen with a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, surpassing the K70 and K70 Pro, which utilize an LTPS OLED display from TCL Huaxing featuring new C8 luminescent material offering peak brightness of up to 4000 nits. Expectations include a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is slated for introduction later this month or in early June.
