Xiaomi already announced the launch of the Redmi 13C smartphone in India on December 6th, Xiaomi has now revealed that it will also introduce the Redmi 13C 5G model simultaneously. Notably, this marks the global debut of the 5G variant, as the previous global releases were limited to the 4G model.
According to earlier speculations, the Redmi 13C 5G, codenamed "Air," is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The awaited revelation will determine whether this phone will directly compete with the Realme Narzo 60x 5G, which utilizes the same chip.
In the case of the Redmi 13C 4G model designed for global markets, it features the Helio G85 SoC, identical to the POCO C65. However, rumors are suggesting that the Indian variant might come with the Helio G99 SoC, following its appearance in an online listing.
Further details about the Redmi 13C 5G model are anticipated to surface in the coming days, leading up to its official unveiling in less than a week.
