Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its next budget smartphone the Redmi 12 in India on August 1st, after it was introduced to global markets last month. In the initial teaser, the phone is showcased in the hands of the company's brand ambassador, Disha Patani, emphasizing the elegant crystal glass design.
The company says that this flagship design is for all, and shows the triple rear cameras setup and the side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
As we know that has a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G88 processor with up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage and is based on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone has a glass back and has IP53 ratings for dust and splash resistance. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The Redmi 12 will be available on Amazon India, Flipkart, mi.com, and offline stores, after the launch next month.
