After the Indian pricing confusion of the iPhone SE, we have finally got the right pricing and launch information. The iPhone SE will start at Rs. 39,000 in India and will go on sale from Redington India, authorized Apple reseller starting April 8th.
Redington India has 3000 outlets in the country and it will start selling the iPhone SE at all of these, come Friday, April 8th and it will be going on pre-order starting March 31st.
If you haven't been following the news, then here's a quick rundown for you. Apple launched the iPhone SE yesterday, which is pretty much an iPhone 6s in garb of an iPhone 5s. You have a 4-inch Retina display here with 326PPI pixel density, Apple A9 dual-core processor with 2GB RAM and a choice of either 16/64GB storage. If you haven't guessed it yet, Rs. 39000 is the price for the 16GB variant.
Apple iPhone SE Specs and Photos
Coming back to specs again, you have the same 12MP rear camera here as the iPhone 6s with 4K recording but there's no 3D touch available on the iPhone SE. Moreover, you just have a 1.2MP front-facing camera here compared to the 5MP FaceTime HD camera on the iPhone 6s.
Anyways, all the excitement about the iPhone SE has fizzled out with the absurd pricing of the iPhone SE in India. What do you guys think about it? Share in the comments section.
