Realme confirmed the launch of its latest flagship 5G smartphone with the codename 'Race', which is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset last month. Now, Realme Race design has been officially teased by Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase on Weibo. The Realme Race is just a codename for the upcoming series and the official marketing name will likely be revealed at a later date.
According to the leaked image, the design of the phone rear panel has a 64MP triple rear camera setup in the rectangular module. It also shows the Realme Race “Power Design” model with a unique finish. It seems the rear panel has a sandstone texture to it though we cannot be certain of it. There are rumors that this device will also feature 120W fast charging support, but Chase hasn’t confirmed this yet.
Realme Race launch date is yet to be announced, but the release of the teaser image indicates that the device is expected to arrive by January 2021. Before the Realme Race, Xiaomi will be the first to launch the world’s first Snapdragon 888 device with the Mi 11, which will be launch on December 28th.
