Realme is working on its next flagship smartphone with the codename “Race” and will have the model number RMX2202. According to the rumors, it will be the rebrand version of the OPPO ACE2 series that was launch in China back in April. There is a screenshot of the About screen of the phone which explains the key features and specifications of the phone. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted “Qualcomm 8__” before the chip’s official announcement and after a few hours later tweeted about “a surprise” for December.

The Realme Race will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 888 processor and will be among the first smartphones to reach the market. It will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage and works on the latest Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
The design of the phone is similar to the OPPO ACE2 smartphone where we can see the image with a quad camera with an “Oreo” style bump. But we don’t have any information about the cameras and no word on the Realme Race will feature Realme’s 125W UltraDART charging or if that will debut with another device. We should know more details and the full specifications of the phone in the upcoming weeks.
