Realme has announced the launch of its next tablet, the Realme Pad 2 Lite in India on September 13th, alongside the Realme P2 Pro smartphone. The tablet will feature a 90Hz 2K (1920 x 1200 pixels) Eye Comfort Display with up to 450 nits of peak brightness, compared to the 120Hz 2K display in the Pad 2. It will be equipped with a large 8300mAh battery, similar to the 8,360mAh battery in the Pad 2. The device will offer 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 16GB of Dynamic RAM, and run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0.
According to the company, the tablet promises long-lasting performance, making it ideal for users seeking reliability and durability in their devices. While specific details remain under wraps, Realme teased new-age features and powerful performance. The teaser images showcase the tablet in violet and black colors. It will be powered by the Helio G99 SoC, similar to the Pad 2, and will feature Quad Stereo speakers.
The tablet has already received certification in markets such as Malaysia, and the EMT certification has confirmed support for 15W fast charging. It is expected to come with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
The Realme Pad 2 Lite will be launched at 12 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, in an online event. More details will be revealed in the coming days.
