OPPO has officially launched its latest smartphones in the Reno12 series, the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro smartphones in India, as promised. Both phones feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy platform, co-designed with OPPO.
They come with up to 12GB of RAM, plus an additional 12GB of virtual RAM, and are based on Android 14 with ColorOS 14.1, these smartphones offer features like AI Recording Summary, AI Clear Voice, and an AI Tool Box that includes AI Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak.

For photography, both models have a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The Reno12 Pro includes a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, while the Reno12 features a 2MP macro camera. They are equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The series features All-Round Armour protection, inspired by a sponge, to enhance resistance to drops and impacts. Its High-Strength Alloy Framework, made from metals such as copper, magnesium, and silicon, ensures a robust and corrosion-resistant construction that meets aerospace quality standards.
The Reno12 Pro undergoes SGS testing for Premium Performance 5 Stars Multi-scene protection, which includes water and shock resistance, among other features. In contrast, the Reno12 carries the SGS Performance 5 Stars Multiscene Performance certification, featuring low blue light and a flicker-free screen to prevent eye fatigue.
The Reno12 Pro 5G is available in Sunset Gold and Space Brown variants in India, featuring a Dual-Texture Back made from Asahi Dragontrail and Panda Glass. The top half incorporates OPPO Glow technology for smudge resistance, while the lower glossy area features a smooth ribbon with OPPO branding.
The Reno12 comes in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver. Astro Silver combines OPPO’s Fluid Ripple Texture to create a liquid illusion on a smooth surface, while Sunset Peach employs a graphic liquid crystal process inspired by the 2024 color of the year. Matte Brown offers a classic look with a rich cocoa hue and a fingerprint-free finish.
