HONOR has launched its latest foldable flagship smartphones, the HONOR Magic V3 and HONOR Magic Vs3, in China, as promised. The Magic V3 main display is 7.92 inches with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, while the cover display measures 6.43 inches with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Both displays offer a peak brightness of 5,000 nits for HDR content, support 1.07 billion colours, and Dolby Vision, with a global peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
It comes in two versions: the vegan leather model, which is 9.2mm thick and weighs 226 grams, and the glass model, which is 9.3mm thick and weighs 230 grams. When unfolded, the dimensions are 156.6 x 145.3 x 4.35-4.4mm, and when folded, they are 156.6 x 74 x 9.2-9.3mm. The hinge, which is 2.84mm thick, can withstand up to 500,000 folds. The device has a 7-series aluminum alloy frame, an IPX8 water resistance rating, and can be used with wet hands.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with HONOR’s RF enhancement chip C1+, an independent secure storage chip, and the HONOR Cicada Wing Pure Titanium Cooling VC for thermal management. It comes with up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, up to 16GB RAM LPDDR5X RAM.
The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor (f/1.6 aperture), a 40MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2, 112° FoV), and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (f/3.0 aperture, 3.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom). For selfies, there are two 20MP cameras, one on each display, with AI enhancements for image beautification.
The Magic V3 supports stylus input and features Rhino Glass, AI defocus eye protection, TÜV Rheinland certification, and 4,320Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The device has a 5,150mAh battery, supporting 66W HONOR SuperCharge and 50W Wireless SuperCharge.

The Magic Vs3 main screen measures 7.92 inches with a resolution of 2344×2156 and brightness up to 1600 nits. The cover screen is 6.43 inches with a resolution of 1060×2376 and brightness up to 2500 nits. Both screens support Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, 1.07 billion colours, stylus input, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and feature AI defocus eye protection certified by TÜV Rheinland.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Magic Vs3 includes HONOR’s RF enhancement chip C1+ and an independent secure storage chip. Its 5,000mAh battery supports the same charging speeds as the Magic V3. It is available in Velvet Black and other versions, has a folded thickness of 9.8mm and unfolds to 4.65mm. It weighs 229 grams in Velvet Black and 231 grams in other versions.
The camera system comprises a 50MP main camera (f/1.9, OIS), a 40MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2, 112° FoV), and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens (f/3.4, OIS) with 5x optical zoom. For selfies, there are two 16MP cameras, one on each display, with 90° wide-angle support and 4K video recording capability.
