OPPO has launched its latest budget smartphone to its K series, the OPPO K12x 5G in India, as promised. The phone boasts MIL-STD-810H certification, having undergone rigorous testing in extreme environments for heat, moisture, and shock resistance. It also features IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The OPPO K12x sports a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. It introduces segment-first Splash Touch technology, allowing users to operate the touchscreen even when wet. It runs on the Dimensity 6300 processor with up to 8GB of RAM, the phone features a 32MP rear camera, a 2MP portrait camera, and an 8MP front camera.
Running on Android 14, the K12x 5G will receive two OS updates and three years of security updates. OPPO’s Trinity Engine ensures smooth and lag-free performance for over four years by efficiently managing computing resources and system memory. With a slim profile of just 7.68 mm and a matte finish around its frame, the K12x offers a smooth and comfortable grip. It is powered by a 5100mAh battery that supports a 45W SuperVOOC charger in the box.
