Google has released a teaser confirming the launch of the upcoming smartphone, the Pixel 9 series including the Pixel 9 Fold for the first time in India on August 14th, following the launch event on August 13th, after the teaser for the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The Pixel 9 Fold teaser revealed a pill-shaped camera cut-outs. Earlier rumours revealed a thinner and narrower aspect ratio for the outer screen. Even though the teaser doesn’t show the camera for the inner screen, the phone is said to use a punch-hole camera in the left part of the screen compared instead of the bezel in the first fold, since this has a smaller bezel.
The Pixel Fold was launched in the U.S. for USD 1799 (Rs. 1,50,450 approx.), so the Pixel 9 Pro Fold should cost more in the U.S. and India.
The ‘Made by Google’ launch event will be held on August 13, 2024, starting at 10 am PT (10:30 PM IST). The event will be live-streamed on YouTube and the Google Store website.
