OPPO has begun teasing the launch of the Find N5, its next foldable flagship, ahead of its scheduled debut in China this February, after following rumours. According to Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, the device will be the world’s thinnest foldable flagship.
Zhou explained that the device’s thinness is limited not by design constraints but by the charging port itself. He also shared a comparison with the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max, andmages illustrating that the phone's thickness is equivalent to four bank cards or two 1-one-yuanoins.
The Find series product head previously revealed that the new phone, internally codenamed "Haiyan," will continue to support stylus functionality. For context, the OPPO Find N3, introduced in 2023, measures 5.8mm thick, while the HONOR Magic V3, currently the thinnest foldable phone, comes in at just 4.35mm.
Earlier reports suggest the OPPO Find N5 will feature a titanium body, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, ColorOS 15, a custom C port, and a 5700mAh battery with support for wired fast charging and wireless charging.
