OPPO has confirmed the launch of its next F series 5G smartphone the OPPO F23 5G in India on May 15th. This should be launched as OPPO A98 5G in selected markets like Malaysia, as per the teasers. It will be the rebranded version of OPPO A1 5G that was launched in China last month, but the global and Indian versions will have a slight change in the camera specs as the teaser shows a 64MP rear camera and a 40x microlens.
OPPO has also confirmed 8GB of RAM + 8GB of RAM with expansion, and 256GB storage, and based on Android 13 with ColorOS 13. It runs on the Snapdragon 695 processor with a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The teaser image shows the phone in Golden color, but we can expect more colors. We should know more details and the exact price of the phone when it goes officially launched next week.
