OnePlus launched its first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, last year in India and other markets, offering two versions: Emerald Dusk with a glass back and Voyager Black with a vegan leather back. Today, OnePlus announced the upcoming launch of the OnePlus Open Apex Edition in Crimson Shadow colour on August 7th. Like the Black version, this edition also features a vegan leather back.
OnePlus stated that the OnePlus Open Apex Edition pays tribute to the iconic Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition, combining premium vegan leather with a captivating design that embodies timelessness.
The vegan leather back cover has a diamond-like pattern, highlighted by vibrant orange accents on the Alert Slider. Other specifications are expected to be similar to the original OnePlus Open. More details, including pricing, will be revealed when the new version officially launches next week.
