HONOR has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic6 Pro in India, as promised. The company highlighted that the phone has received the DXOMARK Gold label for its outstanding battery life and audio performance. It features a quad-curved floating screen, a 6.8-inch 120Hz OLED LTPO display with adaptive dynamic refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, and Dolby Vision support.
It also includes nanocrystal glass, which is ten times more drop-resistant and has been awarded the world’s first Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for five-star drop resistance, according to the company. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and is based on Android 14 with Magic UI 8.0.
The phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.4-f/2.0 ultra-large intelligent variable aperture, and it is the first to include a 1/1.49-inch 180-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Additionally, it has an ultra-wide camera and a 50MP+TOF depth camera on the front. The HONOR Magic6 Pro also features the HONOR C1+ chip for Universal Connection. This advanced chip integrates sophisticated algorithms and antenna technology to provide superior connectivity, making it ideal for global travel, according to the company.
It includes a second-generation 5600 mAh silicon-carbon battery with a built-in HONOR E1 Power Enhanced Chip. Inspired by the electric vehicle industry, this innovative battery design ensures exceptional battery life and reliable performance, even in low-temperature conditions. The battery can operate even at -20°C with just 10% battery remaining. Additionally, with 80W HONOR Wired SuperCharge and 66W HONOR Wireless SuperCharge, users can fully charge the HONOR Magic6 Pro in 40 minutes, according to the company.
