OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones in India, set for January 23rd during its Smooth Beyond Belief launch event. In recent updates, the company has released images showcasing the phone's design and announced its plans to introduce the devices in global markets, including North America and Europe, for the first time in Q1 of 2024. Notably, the OnePlus 12R is set to become the inaugural phone in the OnePlus R series to be available for purchase outside of India and China.
The revealed images display the phone in Cool Blue and Iron Gray color options, with the rear design resembling that of the OnePlus 12. The Cool Blue variant features a glossy finish, offering a light and fresh appearance, while the Iron Gray variant boasts a matte texture, providing a sophisticated and robust feel, as described by the company.
Both color options showcase a matte metal frame, and the phone includes the Alert Slider, now positioned on the left side, akin to the OnePlus 12. This alteration has allowed OnePlus to introduce a new integrated antenna system, promising enhanced performance, particularly during online gaming sessions.
Concerning the OnePlus 12 series, the company has stated -

The two devices, the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R, each have their unique attributes that give users the choice to pick what’s important for them on their next smartphone."
The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are slated for launch at the OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Launch Event on January 23, 2024, at 19:30 IST. As is customary, these phones will be available for purchase on Amazon India, alongside OnePlus.in and offline retail outlets.
