OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch its new OnePlus 10R samrtphone, which will be the successor of 9R or 9RT at the end of Q2 2022. Recently, the company launched OnePlus 9RT in India a couple of weeks back after it was introduced in China last month. OnePlus also introduced its latest flagship samrtphone the OnePlus 10 Pro in China early this month.
According to the report, the OnePlus 10R will be run on the latest flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. The chipset has the same core configuration that sees the Cortex X2 alongside A710 and A510 cores, and there's a Mali-G710 with ten shader cores, as per the rumors. The other companies OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and HONOR are already confirmed that they will launch their flagship smartphones with this chip in the first quarter of 2022, but the OnePlus was not on the list.
The OnePlus 10R will have a 120Hz AMOLED display, the same as the 9RT with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We still don’t have the camera specs of the phone, and it is not confirmed will it include Hasselblad camera features.
The OnePlus 10R is expected to be announced sometime in May or might be in June in India and China. The OnePlus 10 is also expected to be announced along with it, which will be the successor of the OnePlus 9 and the global launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro is expected sometime in April.
