Consumer tech Nothing brand will release its first smartphone the nothing phone (1) this summer of 2022. The company revealed some key details about the upcoming smartphone back in March 2022. Now, the company has unveiled some critical partnerships in an attempt to roll out the phone globally. Nothing has teamed up with the UK’s O2, Germany’s Telekom Deutschland, and India’s Flipkart to make the gadget available in those markets.
According to previous information, the phone comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon platform with an Android-based Nothing OS that delivers a fast, smooth experience that’s uniquely Nothing. The phone (1) will get 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates, as per the company. According to Earlier rumors, the rendered image shows a punch-hole screen that should be an FHD+ AMOLED display with a dual rear camera setup and wireless charging support.
According to the new rumors, the phone will run on the Snapdragon 778G processor with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen, 50 MP primary rear camera along with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens, 32MP front-facing camera, based on Android 12 with NothingOS and will be available in 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage. It will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery with wired fast charging, and also supports wireless charging.
