HMD Global has launched its latest phone in the Nokia G series the Nokia G42 5G in India, as they promised. It has a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 Protection, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Snapdragon 480+ processor with 6GB of RAM + 5GB of additional virtual RAM, 128GB storage, and is based on Android 13 with two years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates.
It has a 50MP primary rear camera along with 2MP depth, 2MP macro sensors, and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging (QC3.0 & PD3.0) for quick recharging and promises up to three days of usage. It comes with a jelly case and a 20W charger in the box.
Furthermore, the Nokia G42 boasts a rear cover crafted from 65% recycled materials and has undergone an industry-leading, extensive testing regimen. It has been subjected to drop tests on a total of 14 sides, corners, edges, and faces, which is more than double the number of drop tests conducted compared to the G50 model. This underscores the commitment to a design that doesn't compromise on durability and longevity.

The Nokia G42 5G comes in So Grey and So Purple colors, and the price is Rs. 12,599 for the single 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It will be available from September 15th in India on Amazon India.
