Motorola has officially announced the launch of the Moto G34 5G, the upcoming 5G smartphone in the 'g series,' in India on January 9th. According to the company, it is positioned as the fastest 5G smartphone in its segment, featuring a Snapdragon 695 SoC and a design with vegan leather.

The Moto G34 5G is confirmed to support 13 5G bands, offer VoNR support, and boast a 6.5" screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the smartphone will come equipped with stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos technology, a 50MP quad-pixel rear camera accompanied by a macro camera, and a 16MP front camera.

Running on Android 14, the phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with Turbo charging support. It will be available in 4GB and 8GB RAM variants, with 128GB storage options. The company has introduced a new 'ready for' feature, allowing users to pair the phone with other devices. However, this feature will be exclusive to the 8GB RAM model.

The Moto G34 5G will boast IP52 ratings for dust and splash resistance, incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and introduce the RAM boost option, offering up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM for a total of 16GB of RAM—a first for Motorola phones.

The smartphone will be sold on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and retail stores after the official launch. Pricing details are expected to be revealed next week.
