Motorola has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto G3 in the US and Canada. David Schuster from Motorola had earlier confirmed that soak test for Marshmallow update for the Moto G 3rd-gen was already on in India and Brazil.
Motorola has already rolled out Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style and Moto X Play in India. The update in US weighs in at about 460 MB including December security patch.
The company also recently added the Moto E 2nd-gen 4G to the list of devices getting updated to Android Marshmallow. You can read more about it here.
