Microsoft has put its entire weight towards the new Windows Phone platform, and this is the next step. The Redmond giant has released a new app called "Switch to Windows Phone" on the android Play Store which helps users who want to move to Windows Phone from Android.
The app essentially takes in a list of all your installed apps and finds the same or similar apps from the Windows Phone app store and uploads the list to the cloud. Therefore, when you finally buy the Windows Phone handset you were so eager to get, it will automatically download all those apps, making the switch much easier.
At present though the app has an abysmal 1.5 rating, which is to be expected if a rival platform adds an app to help you switch, but its not that bad. Download available at source link.
