LG today announced the Optimus L1 II, an entry level smartphone for the developing world. It has a 3.0-inches (320 x 480 pixels) display running on a 1Ghz single core processor with 512MB RAM. Even though the device has a pedestrian display, it does run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean much like the Galaxy Star Duos.

Rest of the specs are not exciting either, there's a 2MP fixed focus primary camera, 4GB internal storage, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. Everything is powered by the 1540 mAh battery of the LG Optimus L1 II.
