Celkon today launched the Campus A63, with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with 256MB RAM. In terms of imaging the phone has a 3.2-megapixel primary camera with a 0.32-inch VGA front-facing camera. Everything on the Campus A63 is powered by its 1500mAh battery. Its good to see entry level smartphones in India running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean instead of Android 2.3 Gingerbread which they previously were.
The phone lacks 3G, but has Wi-Fi, bluetooth and GPS connectivity options plus FM Radio. The Celkon A63 has been priced at Rs. 4,499 and is now available across India.
