Karbonn threw a juggernaut in the entry-level segment with the A12+. Its performance was exemplary which you can see in its benchmarks. We did a gaming review of the Karbonn A12+ in which we played Asphalt 8, FIFA 14, Real Racing 3, GTA Vice City, NOVA 3, MC4 and several other games. Throughout our review the dual-core processor combined with MALI 400 GPU and 512 MB RAM never let out. The gameplay was smooth and lag free with even the high-end games which generally demand more memory.
Conclusion
The Karbonn A12+ is probably the best phone you can get in the sub - Rs. 5000 or entry-level segment in India. Powered by a dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM, it performed brilliantly in our gaming review. We threw every high-end shooter, racing game at it and there was no hint of lag or framedrop. The display too performed quite well without any ghosting or freezing, the touch response too was adequate.
Therefore, considering the price and what the Karbonn A12+ has to offer in terms of general and gaming performance it certainly wins my vote for the best phone in this segment. But there's more to cover in the Full Review, stay tuned for that.
