Infinix has launched its latest smartphone in the SMART series the SMART 8 HD in India, which is the successor of the SMART 7 HD released earlier this year. It has a 6.6-inch HD+ display, identical to its predecessor, the new model stands out with a punch-hole design and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate, a first in this segment, according to the company.
It runs on the Octa-Core Unisoc T606 processor, a significant upgrade from the Unisoc SC9863A SoC, with 3GB of RAM + an additional 3GB of virtual RAM, 64GB of storage, and is based on Android 13 Go Edition with XOS 13. It has a 13MP main rear camera, an AI lens, and an 8MP front camera. Notably, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a pioneering feature in this segment, as highlighted by the company.
The device showcases a distinctive timber texture finish on the back, and the Magic Ring functionality offers features such as Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery, the SMART 8 HD replaces USB Type-C with USB Type-C charging for enhanced convenience. The company is set to announce the pricing and availability details in the near future.

For a limited time, a 10% discount is available on Axis Bank cards, reducing the effective price to Rs. 5,669.
