boAt has unveiled its inaugural eSIM-enabled smartwatch, the Lunar Pro LTE, following the recent launch of the Lunar Tigon smartwatch. Featuring an attractive round dial design adorned with two side buttons, the smartwatch's standout feature is its support for LTE calling through an eSIM.
Users can enjoy the convenience of making and receiving calls, as well as sending and receiving messages directly from the smartwatch, eliminating the need to carry a smartphone. Additionally, the Lunar Pro LTE supports Bluetooth calling.
boAt has established a partnership with Jio for this new smartwatch, as announced. However, the boAt website indicates that the eSIM feature is also compatible with Airtel users, suggesting potential future integration.
The Lunar Pro LTE sports a sizable 1.39-inch always-on AMOLED screen with customizable watch faces. It offers comprehensive health monitoring capabilities, including tracking for heart rate, SpO2, menstrual cycle, and sleep, along with support for over 100 sports modes. With built-in GPS, IP68 water and dust resistance, and an impressive battery life of up to 5 days, the Lunar Pro LTE caters to diverse user needs.
